We left it as Domestic Driver to have a name to be open to include more cars in the future. Eventually if the magazine gets to be around 100 pages I would want to include mid-sized cars.

I don't want to cover cars like the Corvette or Mustang as plenty of magazines already cover it.

Also I have NEVER said that I wouldn't cover the stratus becuase its not a popular tuner car. Since we featured a 89 Cavalier which is not a popular tuner car either. We have tried to focus on a catagory for now and eventually expand more.

We tried to come up with a complete list of what cars to include but it seems it keeps growing. Also we try go by what the company says the car is. Like Dodge's Compact Car is the Neon. It's mid-size is the stratus.

If we can come up with a stoping point for what we can include it would be pretty easy for us. Like if we included mid-sized what other domestics would be included?

These are a lot of questions we have asked ourselves. Maybe if you read the magazine you would see a little more of what we are about.

i can read about your SRT4s here, because from what i understand, one of the featured cars is a member here...

and reading about an 89 cavvy with a body kit and fart can does little for me...im more interested in the 2005 cavalier SS...cobalt SS..whatever they call it now...

ok, so you accept the
SRT4
cavaliers
berettas
neons
but no focus, so nothing from ford? perhaps the escort?

i can see your reasoning for not taking vettes and crustangs....but believe it or not, there is a decent sized market for the RTs...the guys and gals at cloudcars or stratusphere or 2gstratus would back me up on that, im sure...but upon visiting your webpage, there is so much j body stuff that i would assume you were owned or backed by GM...

We used to be J-Body Magazine www.jbodymagazine.com thats why it appears that way. So our strongest following is still J-Bodies. We are trying to get more known to others now.

Also we do accept Ford's. Just not ones built outside of America. We accept the focus and escort. As you can see its hard to figure out even whats domestic. Does it need to be built and designed in the US or just built?...

if the parts inside a car determined if it was domestic or import, theyd ALL be imports (electronics anyone? transmissions?)
