We have had a featured neon SRT-4 in our last issue on the cover. This issue we have one in the readers rides section. We plan to have at least one neon in every issue. More than in most other magazines. It's based on what submissions we get each quarter also. Since we didn't get many Neon submissions this issue we weren't able to have as many as we may have liked too. Next issue we plan to be doing an article on the SRT Nationals.

yeah...ive got an article for ya....

so you will cover a BERETTA....which is no more compact and CERTAINLY no more sporty than a stratus RT...but you wont deal with RTs..how interesting...

smells like some GM sympathizsing CRAP to me...

This is based on the fact that the GMSC bash has accepted the beratta as a compact. Also on the fact that the beretta is a 2DR only model. Since the stratus comes in a 4dr model we can't really compare the two. We are strugling to define what cars are accepted as it is. Some people with Ford Focus' are trying to get in when the owners live in europe so obviously thats not domestic. It has to end somewhere.

If you have a simple solution by all means let me know.

i was born in the us....i have always lived in the us...i have only owned dodges (domestic)...im about as domestic as it gets...the only thing that bothers me is that when you first started advertising here (for free) you asked for pictures of domestic sport compacts, and when i sent you pictures you went on about how my car wasnt a popular tuner car..but a beretta and an 89 cavalier??

the cavalier comes in 4 door sedans...and the 4 door model of the of the beretta was called a corsica...

and im guessing that since i am excluded since my car is also offered in a sedan, you exclude the SRT-4, which ONLY comes in a 4 door?

riiight...how about if i bolt a big stadium seating wing and take all of the logos off of my car...ill be accepted?

and i have some cobalt news for you...it comes in a 4 dr sedan...

and poeple wonder why theres so few domestic-only "sport compact" magazines out there.. its because people like to nitpick and bash it every chance they get.. just as seen in this thread.

myself, im glad to see a domestic-only magazine. maybe ill submit my peon for an article once i get it cleaned up a little

on that note.. since it is called "domestic driver" and not "domestic compact driver" i dont see why the stratus isnt allowed??
