Yep, I will be replacing my brake pads soon. What are some good ones. More importantly what would you recommend. I'm not positive, but I might be getting slotted rotors at the same time as well, or I may just get mine resurfaced. But my pads are definitely getting worn down.

Hawk and EB Greenstuff pads both offer nice options for the 5-lug Neons. Check to make sure they fit 2nd gens though...
Porsche racing team removes their stock cross-drilled and slotted rotors in favor or regular flat rotors, if that means anything...
Best of luck!

i had drilled/slotted rotors with ebc green stuff pads and the rotors did crack at the drilled holes. i now have ebc green stuff again, only on brembo rotors (non drilled or slotted) and i think they work better than the drilled/slotted. these ebc greeies have some bite!

you can go to http://www.tirerack.com and plug in your info for brake components . they give you options as far as companies go and from there read up on the companies too.
