96 dodge neon 2.0 sohc 5 speed.
Hey my car has been kinda jerking or cutting out a little as I am accelerating especially at higher speed. seems to have play son power. thought it was the coil pack cuz one of the metal prongs was corroded and wasn't sparking right I bought a new one. need ideas thanks
Omnispark wires and ngk g power series spark plugs bout 3months back. new coilpack and map sensor. shows own p0135 code o2 bank 1 failure in o2 circuit. and own p0171 fuel trim bank 1 rich or lean condition on engine bk 1 only. Driving I stick it in neutral and coast idle stays between 1000 to to 1400 and goes back down to the normal 850 to 950 range after I stop completely . jerks everynow and then when accelerating or at constant speed

Check the o2 wiring make sure its not melted near the exhaust. You changed the upper o2 sensor right? Did you check the cat make sure its not plugged or broken up, any restriction in the intake? And last check fuel pressure. If you have a scanner check the o2 readings.
Actually your right I checked the wiring by the plug on th harness that the o2 plugs into and its bare and slightly chewed or messed up. found a spot on wiring that was rubbing on my cv shaft electrical taped it and I am looking for a new pigtail to the o2 . checked fuel pressure and it was way off. I had put a new pump in 2 months back and so it had warranty and I switched it out with a new one . all of m problems are gone now except for the sel on with a po135 code o2sensor and resulting weird gas mileage which I assume is because of the wiring on the pigtail. Thanks a lot for the ideas helped a lot. My cat has a hole in it from where I had to take the honeycomb out that were broken I haven't had a chance to weld it back up and I forgot to look for melted wires but next time I'm under I will and I'll post back
