i have an 2003 sxt 5 speed dodge neon and i swaped the motor with an 02 sxt automatic dodge neon and it will not crank?

 

There are different sensors and possibly some different wiring for those sensors (can't remember exactly right now; been awhile since I've gone over the specific differences). I'm assuming you didn't change any of those? '00-'02 is different than '03-'05 because of the two different computer systems.

 

i took all the wiring and sensors off the 2003 motor and put them in the 2002 motor before i put it in and it still will not crank.

 

If it wont crank at all you need to use a test light or multimeter to check for power, ground, and ignition signal to the starter. Works your way up to the fuses, relays, and terminals. Does the fuel pump kick on?

 

it will turn over but its not getting any fire to the fuel rail or the spark plugs.

would it help if i took my 03 computer systems to a dodge place and got it reprogrammed.

 

Got it reprogrammed for what?

 

somebody told me to take it and get it reprogrammed and it would help.

 

if i wire my fuel injectors straight to the computer will it help.
