My neon is a '95 auto, it burns about 2 quarts of oil every 500 miles, so i was considering 3 options, rebuilding the engine, getting another neon engine to put in in its place, or i was wondering if anyone knew of a good replacement engine from another car that might have more "*****" per say. It's not leaking it, but burning it.[sm=smiley5.gif]Well then, what 2.0L does yours have, the SOHC or the DOHC? If it is a SOHC, toss it and get a DOHC. If it's a DOHC, then you might just want to get it rebuilt. If you have the $$$, then find a wrecked SRT-4 and steal everything you can find from it.[sm=smiley20.gif]

 

My friend actually put a GEO Prizm engine in his, that thing hauls.

 

thanks for the input man, that be cool if i could find a srt-4 wreck...but nope i dont have the cash, im still paying for the car :P but it is the SOHC so i think i might try and hget it switched up for the DOHC i found one from a 2000 is that will work. Thanks
