i always take off my ****ing face plate and for some retarded reason or another, last night i didnt and what happened? my car gets broken into, they got into my trunk and took all my burned cds too. they even took some ****ing cigarettes of mine. what ********. man im so pissed off.

 

Sorry to hear about that man...that sucks majorly. I use alot of burned CD's, but I also have a huge mp3 collection in the house and at work.....so I dont sweat the loss of the burned CD's.

Your insurance should cover it, so maybe you'll get something better out of it. It's the only positive thing I could say man. Good luck.

 

Sorry to hear that. Did they get the radio? You said you left the faceplate on, but didn't say if they got it. Anything bolted in should be covered by insurance. The CD's I doubt they will cover though.

 

did they smash the window to get in? Any other damage other than the point of entry? I hope that they used the trunk latch to get to the trunk instead of prying it open. My car doesn't come with the trunk latch. It's supposed to be beside the driver's side seat or inside the glove compartment and it's in neither location. I have to use my key to get into the trunk. I hope you're insured and can cover your losses.

 

i know the feeling same thing happened to my first neon its still hard to get over....

 

I wonder if it's legal to wire your car to electrocute certain parts of the interior of your car so that if people touch it before it's been disabled it'll give them the shock of their life. I know that there was a company who was trying to get a car alarm that would use a flamethrower, but they had to settle for electrified door handles. That would kick ***. They wouldn't get too far with my car after a jolt like that. Get an electrified seat or steering wheel.

 

Mine was broken into twice within the first 6 months of moving here... Got $1500 worth of CD's (not copies) that insurance won't pay for. Second time they got all the electronics (guages, fuel controller, WBO2, etc.). It's just stuff. You are not your Neon...

My Neon was broken into too. They pulled the window back and unlocked the door. At least they were nice enough to unscrew one of the screws that holds it in and neatly unplug the deck (not that it matters now as all that wiring is gone). I kept the faceplate in the center console, but they found it.

It sucks, I know.
