CAI questions... lots of 'em
I have the Iceman on mine. I also pick up some decent hp, I do also have a pace-setter cat-back, which frees up the exhaust 2. It sounds great. you have to be careful what ya get you want a true cai, not just a short-ram.
k thanks a bunch, i have heard from other people that the iceman sucks in a great amount of water... is that true? duh not when its not raining, but is it a problem when it is raining/has rained? thanks
Thats the bigest myth when it comes to any CAI. You would have to drive in a puddle up to the piont where water was totally covering the filter to suck up water. (think how deep that is, you would have other problems first). Either that or you would have to have a constant splash of water hitting your filter but that isn't that likely either.
For future reference there is an alternative to the $200 Iceman that is just as good if not better.
An intake tube off of a Doge Caravan, Plymouth Voyager and the like. YOu can usually find them most commonly in junk yards. But there are a few people on various other forums that sell them as well. And the price is much, much less $30 for a CAI off a Caravan.
