hello all, I have a problem with my 2002 (automatic)neon se. when I go to start up the car it starts for a second and then dies unless I keep giving it gas. I have been having to do the brake/tap the gas pedal whenever I'm at a stop just so the car won't stall on me. Then it seems after a while after it gets warmed up, it drives and idles normally. has anyone else had this happen? I've seen several possibilitys on what it could be,but I just don't know where to start,and I dont have the money to purchase too much. if anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

 

have you given it a tune up? Changed the plugs? fuel filter? Does it make any noises? Could be alot of diff things.... Give me a little more info and i might be able to find out whats up,,

could be a vacuum leak or a dirty throttle body or a faulty or dirty Idle Air Motor

 

What about something with the Fuel filter?? Bad, or maybe damaged somehow????
