Default once again-- cai question

i know, you guys are probably getting tires of seeing posts about cai, but i got a quick, and hopefully, easy question. i found a cai and the site says that it fits on '00 - '03 sohc 5sp w/o abs. my question is: is there any reason this wouldn't fit on my '04 sohc 5sp w/o abs?

another quick one:
the same site has dc sport struts front and rear that fit srt-4s. once again, would these work on my neon?

i tried contacting the site by both phone and e-mail, but i'm gettin no response.

The intake I am almost positive it will work as for the strut bar I don't see why it wouldn't but I am not sure.

The intake will work, but I am not too sure about the strut bar. You may want to post something in the SRT-4 forum and ask those guys what they think.

The only reason they don't list it for the '04 is probably because they are the newest model year, nothing has changed to my knowledge between '03 and '04.

The DC FSTB should work since the Neons basic body and frame are the same between all models (SRT-4, SXT, R/T, etc.). The only difference is the parts used, such as the struts/springs themselves (not how they mount though), hood, nose, engine, trans, etc. As long as it doesn't hit the hood, it should be good to go.

Try calling Modern Performance around noon-1PM at their toll free ordering number and tell them your wanting to get those for your Neon and see what they say. I also highly recommend that you get the Prothane race motor mount inserts from them, they help out the cars acceleration and they only cost $23.99 for both the upper and lower inserts.

i was looking at the motor mount inserts like you suggested, but i'm curious as to why the prothane motor mounts and the rex motor mounts are so incredibly different. they don't even look like they're the same part. what's the deal there.[sm=dontgetit.gif]

They've gone that far down in price? Damn, I've been meaning to get a set of MM inserts but I've been waiting for them to come down.

Guess it'd help if I paid more attention to those kinds of things huh? Looks like I'll be ordering a set this weekend.
