Hello!

I am trying to remove the inside door panels so that I can remove my speakers in the front driver and passenger doors. I have everything off, the clips snapped off easily, and I unscrewed the two screws that go with the door handle, and the door panel is loose, however, I can't seem to get the damned window crank handles off!! I thought they would just snap out, or unscrew, but I can't seem to get them off no matter what I do. It is probably really simple. Do I need a special tool? There's a retainer clip on the back. Should be able to work it off with a flat piece of plastic or a stiff rag. I worked it under the hub from the crank side last time I removed one - but don't recall if it stays oriented that way. You can barely see the clip by pushing the door panel in around the ****. There is a cheap sheet metal tool that can be bought in most auto parts stores/departments that is handy for this, but not necessary.
