Default lookin for a hood

Hows it goin, kinda new around here and i was just wondering if anyone here knows if a hood designed for a srt would fit an sxt? I found a couple of hoods that i like but they say (SRT-4 Only). The guy at the Dodge dealer ship couldn't tell me if the srt hoods would fit a sxt or not. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, the SRT4 hood does fit the SXT. However unless you get the SRT4 bumper you will have a gap between your hood and bumper. The SRT4 hood is slightly longer. So I would assume since the stock SRT4 hood fits that basically any hood for the SRT4 would fit (especially if you had the SRT4 front bumper).

The longer hood would actually look kinda mean without the front SRT bumper cover.

Almost like when you remove the grill insert from a 1st gen.

But if I was you I would check with the who's selling them or whoever makes the hood you're interested in getting and ask them about fitment on your Neon just to be safe.

It has the potential to look good, it could also make it look like the hood has very poor fitment.

Thats the very first mod project neon got.

grill insert... we talking about that single bar that spans across the grill? It's just connected by a bolt on either sied, right? If anyone with the mod (i.e. Altima_wb) could post a pic to confirm my suspicions it would be greatly appreciated.
