holy crap haha DCX is a conglomorate. the engineers at chyrsler are the ones who put that motor in the mitsus
Nope, that would be the Mitsubishi engineers who did that.

Chrysler's joint research with their subsidiary-at-the-time Lamborghini[/b] produced the Chrysler V12 Formula 1 engine, and the research done in designing those heads was (according to period publications) directly used in the development of the Chrysler 2.0 DOHC head.

The truth is the truth. I don't go around saying it all the time, but it seemed that you two needed some educating. BTW, Chrysler's DOHC outflows Mitsubishi's

The 420a of course....the 4g63 is a NICE engine and has NOTHING in common with the neons DOHC engine.

Stroking is awesome.

Stroking an engine is altering the crank pin location to increase or decrease the piston travel in the cylinder which then increases or decreases the engine's displacement.

Like the big bore engine needing more port area because of the bigger bore, the stroker will also need more port area than it had with the stock crankshaft to really get the full potential it may be capable of producing. Rather than calculating port area to a bigger bore, it will be calculating port area around the longer stroke. Technically there are some advantages and disadvantages in stroking an engine versus increasing the bore size.
Woops, you were talking about dude's ego. Nevermind my post.
