I am having a reception problem with my radio. Took it to a Dodge dealer and they said that the antenna connections were OK so it must be the radio. Bought another Dodge radio and still have the same probleem. Checked the antenna connection behind the radio, behind the trim by the windshield and at the antenna. All appear fine. Noticed another wire at the antenna. It is connected but I do not know where this goes or if it could be a problem. Can anyone help me?

What did the dealer use for testing a bad antenna? There is a TSB on replacing the the antenna leads and I think there was three antenna leads. I will move your post to the Dodge Nitro section and someone there can help.
