Default 1996 dodge b2500 V8 part question

So this part ripped off last jight and amoke everywhere. The smoke was due the coolant spraying everywhere cause a hose ripped. But inside the hose was connected, (originally or after market, i dont know), by plastic to this part. I tried the worst 5 year old tape and glue job with what i had to get me to oreillys to buy the part. The mechanic is no where to be found and the employess are as stumped as I am. Meanwhile i decided to see if I could get some really quick help from some actual experts, while i sit in the parking lot. I hope i can add pics as a newbie, if not ill figure something out. Thanks in advance!

This is before i took it apart obviously. All the way in the back passenger side

This is the hard plastic part

The hose. These are just last night. I can take more pics of it if need be, but im telling you, I did a slap *** job with the glue...

Flow control valve. Keeps coolant from running thru the heater core if you aren't actually wanting heat...... Parts store should have new ones on the shelf.
