You caught it in a lie! It doesn't know how to lie itself out of the situation.

Don't feel bad, mine smokes the "stupid" crack sometimes too. Sometimes when I start mine up, the temp will read -40 and then slowly count it's way up to where it's supposed to be. The overhead isn't rite anyway,, it's just a good guesstimation,, I have to reset it and detuct 2 to get a round about mpg reading.

There is a flash that the dealer can do to fix the -40 prob on the 06's. Not a big deal but easy fix next time you stop by the dealer.

How long does it take for for the lie-o-meter to "recover" from a towing trip? Mine went down to 10.2 on the trip to Vegas and still isn't back up to pre- trip mileage.
Don't mean to jack the thread, couldn't see starting another one.

The things lie too bad totrust , mine says I getting 21.5 when I'm getting 16.8 in the real world, I wish we could adjust it to get some where close to real MPG

gtxpoochhit the reset and start it all over

Thanks, I'll do that. I would think it would come right back up fairly quick with no load.

The more miles you have stored the longer in takes for the average to come back to normal
