Default Trying to decide 2wd vs 4wd

I am going from ford to Dodge CTD and am debating ona 2wd or 4wd Mega Cab. Iwould not use the 4wd much, but could on occasion. I would day 90% 2wd use in city. Any thoughts on the pros and cons?

With all the weight of that diesel up front you need that four wheel drive more than you would think.

If you get it off pavement and the ground is soft that front end is going to be plowing and it will stop you in your tracks, so if you can swing it get the 4x4

Just a late input. Think about resale value as well. I've always known 4x4 having ALOT better resale. (Thats if you ever sale it.)

It's matter of opinion. Mine is, I won't own a truck without 4x4.

I love the way the 4x4s look, But Ive put almost 300k on two CTDs and have never needed a 4x4.I work out of mineon the hwy, So it would be a waste for me. Its all in what you want and can afford. Good Luck!!!

If you're not going to get a 4x4 you might as well get a Geo...

...don't mean to be so drastic, but come on! It's a Cummins. It's meant for 4x4.

Duallys are available in 2wd too Watermelon.

Get the 4wd. If there's the possiblity of using it you'll have it there when you need it. There is more upkeep to a 4wd but it's worth it in my mind.
