RE: push button start?
i have a 94 3500 that i put an auto start in, if thats what ur talking about, its a 5 speed so i had to dissengage the clutch safety so it will start in gear now, but the auto start has a waitin period for the glow plugs to warm and will start as long as its not below about 25-20 degrees, if it is i just have to hit it a couple of times.

You can get really creative with this idea. I did this on my Jeep and put several switches to run the functions of the key. You'll probably want a hidden switch if you do all that. For mine, no keys are needed, but you need to push the cigarette lighter in, turn one switch on and one off, then the starter is the center console button. Haven't had anybody figure this out yet!
