Default 05 hard starting

I need help since my local dodge dealer cant figure it out. I have an 05 cummins that cranks forever before it starts(10-30 sec).Worse when its at operating temp. I took it to the dealer, they have ran an injector test(ok), replaced the in tank transfer pump, and the injection pump, and still acts the same. This truck is completly stock, no mods. Any suggestions will be advised to the dealer. Any help would be appreciated.

It deffinetly sounds like lack of fuel since it is worse when hot. If it was low compression it would be worse cold.

Another possability would be low cranking speed, batteries or starter both would crank slower when hot.

I have an 04, and it is starting to get worse, and my buddy has a 03, and it got just as bad as yours is. He took it in to the dealer a few times and they finally dropped his fuel tank, found a**** load of sediment in the tank, and they ended up replaces the fuel lines, lift pump, injector pump, and the injectors. Some where in all that, it fixed the problem. I'm guessing his lines where plugged all to hell. We fill up at the same service station, and they ended up looking into the service stations tanks, and they were horible. The station had to pay for all the work to his truck. I wouldn't be suprised if this is your problem too.
