Default 4" lift swaybar link - length??????

I have an 05 2500 with what I believe is a 4" Superlift ( was in the truck when I bought it). Anyway, I heard a clunking sound yesterday and found that I snapped off the drivers side swaybar link. The odd thing is that when I took a look at the other side, it looks to me like the swaybar links are too long. Almost seems like they screwed up and put the links from a 6" lift by mistake.

Can anyone measure the length of the links for me? I could use a stock measurement and a measurement for a 4" or 6" lift.

Thanks.

Just measure from the mounting point on the frame to the point where the sway bar sits level with the ground at ride height. This gives the sway bar max room to flex in both extension and compression cycles.

OK. I think your statement about the sway bar sitting level confirms my suspisions. Mine does not sit level. If they were two inches shorter, it would be level.

Thanks

Yup, that sounds like a 6" setup.

Just talked to Superlift on the phone. It seems that they use the same link on both the 6" and 4" lifts! If the swaybar link was 2" shorter, this would not be a problem.Mine measure about 8" from the mount to the swaybar. Design flaw if you ask me. I'll have to try to find one different ones, or maybe make my own.

Do you see how much deflection it's putting on the bushings already? They need to be shorter.

Go to Autozone, Advance, O'Reilly, etc.

The usually have sway bar end links and have a bunch of sizes.
