Default True Duals or Single

I'm just wondering where I'd go to get some true dual pipe or you guys think just single straight pipe. I want them to come out right behind my wheels behind the mud flaps so they stay clean. If someone would post a website for duals as well.

I say keep it single. Maybe get a nice chrome/polished tip and that'd be nice. Also I'd say run it straight piped ie take out muffler and cat. Get you nice sound and would look real nice and clean. O and make sure to get the angle just right so you can put smoke into the car beside u's windwo

kinda hard to do a TRUE dual on a turbocharged engine unless you were running twins on each bank of a V engine.

I know. . .I'm a smart ***

well this is an inline engine you cannot do "true duals" so you are better off just running the straight pipe out the passenger side.

I gotta keep my cat on and was thinking of starting the dual after the cat or little later with a split pipe, but prob keep it single and just take muffler out and get a nice big tip. if its little loud take it from what it is now and maybe go to 4in. 01 dodge ctd is 3.5 isnt it on the exhaust pipe

That's what it was on my 98. I went with the 3.5 AeroXL

How loud is it outside, not really worried about cab loudness since its so windy out here most the time anyways. I just dont feel like getting pulled over at night

HonestlyI don't think it's loud at all. It's just as loud as my truck was when the tailpipe went south.

For a couple of weeksI was running with a stock exhaust but no tailpipe. The tailpipe rotted out. When I finally installed my Aero, I removed the resonator, put a straight pipe in there, ran it back to the Aero where the stock muffler one was, and finally through the new tailpipe. I don't think it was one bit louder at all, but the truck DEFINATELY ran better !!
