Thanks for the information guys. I'm the one at fault for not reading my manual in depth. Can anyone recommend one of these timers and just how do they work?

Walt
On the TST, I believe you hit the switch and pull the key.

On my Attitude, it's completely automatic. I just pull the key, get out, lock the doors and let it go. If I want to turn it off immediately, I just step on the brake. If someone hopped in trying to steal it, it turns off if you try to put it in gear or step on the brake.

Hey Cumminalong,
Thanks for the opinion on the various issues. I'm taking your advice and soon ordering my gauges. I'm thinking of the autometer's phantom II's and mounting them in the overhead pod the sits between the rear view mirror and the computer display. Question for you, which gauges besides the trans temp and the etg should I consider? Is the boost or the fuel pressure gauge of equal importance? Just wondering here. Anyone else with an opinion please chime in.
Thanks,

Walt

Sorry it took me a bit to get back to ya....I've been traveling and just got to a computer.

Boost is good to have if you have the 04.5+ truck. Otherwise, on the older trucks the wastegate is mechanical and you won't overboost without actuallt making mechanical mods. On the 04.5+, the wastegate is electronically controlled and you'll want to monitor it.

Other than that, the EGT, and the trans....I would definitely get either a fuel pressure gauge or a rail pressure gauge.

All the other neeto, super-duper, high speed gauges on the Attitude monitor I have are all gee-whiz, whiz-bang stuff. I never use them except screwing around.

Fuel and rail pressure are my next 2 gauges.

I would also leave the tranny in neutral to circulate fluid. Factory tranny do not circulate in PARK.
I never knew that ...

I've got an '02 so I don't know if the menus are different, but on mine you hit menu, go down to juice configuration, then go to turbo cool down setup.
