Default Map sensor?

I had a tst chip in my truck and that broke, I sent it in they fixed it I put it back and it did the same thing. I checked all the wiring and fuses everything was good. After a year I got fed up and put an Edge w/attitude in. I put it in and it didn't seem to do anything. I called edge and went through all the diagnostics and everything was good. I have an analog boost guage that a trust and when everything was working right with the tst would hold 36 to 38 psi. Now the analog is reading low maybe once in a while it will get to 28, but the boost from the attitude reads high 30's. The biggest discrepency I've seen is 10 psi. I know most of you have watched the video and have seen my truck smoke, but the wierd thing is the EGT's take a while to start to climb. If I hit it and it is low RPM the EGT's will only climb to 800 or so until the boost comes in then they will climb to maybe 1300, with the TST I had to watch the egt's pretty close because when you hit, yea the truck would take off but so would the egt's. With the edge my throttle response has been slower than before and my turbo takes longer to spool. I was wondering if maybe it could be my map sensor. I figure that if the map is sending a high signal the edge could be trying to adjust the timing and since the boost is actually lower it is not making the power it should. I know a lot of people use the edge and have heard a lot of good things, but mine makes no difference between 1 and 5 besides smoke. I don't think it is my turbo because the EGT's aren't going through the roof. Anyone know how much a new map is and how hard it is to replace?

If I can't get the chip to work I'll probably have a very slightly used edge w/attitude for sale. I going to send in the tst chip and have them check that, if that is all good if someone wants to pick that up it is the tst powermax competition for the 02 supposed to make 180 hp and 450 ft lbs at the wheels and yea when it was working it was probably pretty close to that. It has the remote, but doesn't have any safety features, so guages are a must, when everything was working it would peg my pyro at 1600 if I had it on the high levels real fast, but then again I have a fass, 100 hp injectors and an upgraded injector pump from ATS so it would fuel hard. You think the smoke I taped for the video was thick, should have seen it with that setup, black as coal and super thick.

The cam sensor is a lot cheaper and easier to find. I haven't been able to find any places that carry the map besides the dealership and they want 400 bucks for it. Would that kick a code and what about the 10 psi difference?

Cutter, yea I think that is why they are the same price.
