Did I kill it?
Pulled out into traffic today and noticed the truck had a little less power, so being scared I limped it home a little faster than idle. Put the gauge on and it read 12psi at idle. So I think ok, WTF is going on. I started it up and took a hard run for about 100 feet and the pressure dropped, as normal, but it went down almost to 0 adn didn't come back up until I shut the truck off and restarted it. Something is wrong with the lift pump and I'm installing another this afternoon. Did I kill the VP44?

RE: Did I kill it?
Get the FASS baby ... I LOVE it !!
At first I was like " eh, no biggie". I didn't notice a difference at all. I simply told myself that it was a needed device, not nessarily a "mod" device.
Then, I drove about 40 miles to my sisters house for a Christening. I hop up on the highway and still, no big thrills. I lay into ita couple of times, and it felt like each time I did, it got a bit better. On my way home I REALLY laid into it and didn't let off. It was the first time I ever was able to get my Ram over 100 mph. I got it up to I think it was 115 before I saw a cop in the distance with his lights on. I jumped off of the exit, flew down the ramp, and made it to a bar parking lot before he passed by. It was not only my first experience over 100mph in my Ram, but it was also my first lesson to the boy as to how to elude the law since he was riding shotgun. I tried to explain to him that mommy didn't need to know, but he dimed me out as soon as he saw her. The boy obviously needs some more work.
