I have an allergic reaction to dealerships...that and if I can find something a little more heavy duty I'd like to since we're probably keeping the truck for awhile.

Had the same problem with mine, at first the driveshaft there a weight which caused a slight vibartion and in turn tore the carrier bearing apart. new driveshaft and carrier bearing, was under warrant though.

NAPA or CARQUEST for the carrier bearing.

you might be able to order online also.

when you replaced the other u joints, did ya mark the shaft so it would line back up the same as before removal?

they are balanced. if the carrier doesnt do it, a tire balance and rotation wont fix it, have the drive shaft rebalanced.
