Default muffler and cat delete

Is it hard to diy or is the stock exhaust clamped together real well. I tried taking apart exhausts in the past and it was always a pain cause the clamps were so tight they crimped the metal.

So on my 06 will the pipes come apart easily if I do the delet or add a diff muffler? Thanks!

If they don't come apart, there is always an airchisel or a sawsall. Usually they come apart fairly easy on newer trucks. Key word being "usually"

I had the MBRP 4" turbo back, but I removed the muffler that came with it and now straight pipe. Both ways sound good, just wasn't loud enough for me with the muffler on it. The MBRP I have is the one with the 5" tip

The exhaust is crimped together tight. The only part I was able to reuse on my '06 was the downpipe. Everything else was crimped so tight, I jsut had to cut it. I was trying to remove it all as a complete system, but the routing of the exhaust wouldn't allow that; mainly where the pipe curves out over the rear axle.

Just break out the sawzall and be done with it; it'll save you a lot of time and effort.
