YEAH .... the more pics the merrier !!

I'm going to order everything from Ken's Performance and he tells me he has everythngI need for the install including some thing-a-ma-bob that you use on the fuel pressure gauge that you wind up using antifreeze on the gauge side to prevent having to run diesel fuel into your cab. Apparently he sells a new banjo bolt that goes into the VP-44 so that you would run the line from there. Sound right? Is there an easier / better way?

I'm looking at the black faced gauges to best match my factory gauges. Anyone have a pic of those or use those?

Can you better explain this whole A-pillar tweeter cut out thing? I was under the impression that I removed my existing A-pillar and replaced it with this new one. Wrong? I'm not too keen on the idea of having to cut up my existing pillar.

The pod mounts on top of the factory pillar. You drill 3/16" holes through both and use plastic rivet thingies to hold them together. The raised portion of the factory pillar will not allow the gauge pod to sit all the way down on top of it, hence the required cutting. Like somebody else mentioned, you could buy a different one without the tweeter and wouldn't have to cut so much. Without mounting the pod to the factory pillar there is no good way to secure it to the vehicle. I guess you could always drill and screw it to the steel behind the pillar, but then you'll have ugly screw heads showing.

Sorry Mayfair, but I still like the overhead one way better then the pillar.
I had the pillar in my 2002 and did not like it at all, it blocked air flow from the defrost and up here you need the defrost, that is why I went with the overhead in my 2007

I would LOVE to get the overhead like you did King, they just don't make a gauge holder for up ther for my truck, and there isn't enough space between my rearview and the cieling like ther is on yours, otherwise I would have had it by now. I love the way yours turned out.

Yep it is black, BUT I do not even notice it is black anymore, but yes I should change it to match it would look better for sure.

Mayfair, I did not realize that they would not fit all the Rams, and another reason I did not like my pillar mount was, well , I am getting older now and have just started to wear glass's and it took a little longer to focus on them when used to focusing on the road, not a huge issue but when I needed to read excat numbers it was some what fun LOL.

Ok open season on this old guy now .
