Default Tire update & wheel care...

finally busted out the chrome cleaner to see how well it works... take a look at the pics. the 2nd & 3rd pic are with & without a flash, wasnt sure which would show it better so I took both. the cleaned spot is at the bottom of the rim, look to the left for the comparison. At the same time I took some updated shots of the tires and how well they are wearing... these are at approx 42~45k (I personally put 42k on them, bought them used when they were 2 weeks old). anyways, thought I'd share...

Does it clean the plastic ones, you got anything to cover up that rust hub?

I have zero patience and time to polish rims like that. If i can't spray it on and just hit it with a brush, then it aint gettin done. I barely do it on my bike, there's no way I'd do it on my truck.

yeah me neither, that's why they look the way they do. I might have to take the time now to finish them. the center caps are in the garage... lost 1 while wheeling and took the rest off so I wouldnt loose them. the plan is to add a clear bead of silicon sealant and then pop them on... supposedly that will keep them from flying off...

Why do it now when you could put it off for another year
