Im sure it would, just turn key wait then use button? I dont see why not. The turn key ignitions should be the same.

Squirt-

Not sure if you have found a button yet or not, but I am going to be doing this mod as well and I found this website that sells them. With shipping it's still a few bucks cheaper than most places.

Sounds like a fairly easy install.

They are fairly easy to installed.as long as you know wires to plug into.i have done a few on the older dodge for my buddys.cause they wanted to be like a semi turn the key then hit the button.then my other buddy wanted for a kill switch.

I'm still not quite sure what the purpose of this is. Is it just a cool factor?

For me there is no other reason for this other than the cool factor. It's something a little different than most folks. The way I plan on wiring it up, the key will still work like normal, I canjust use the button also.

That is pretty cool how it lights up. I am not looking into it, but my son was asking about it so I will relay the message for him. Because when he finally gets his ram he isprobably going to purchase one.
