Default Bye bye predator, Hello Edge !

Well I put the DR performance predator in a few weeks ago. Good unit it is. But after hearing everyones opinions and input, I have decided to get rid of the predator in exchange for the edge . Predator had a 30 day no hassle trial period, so no bigge to trade it out. So for 400 more im getting the edge w/monitor installed.
Now that I have free flowing intake and exhaust. I think its time to bring in the power.

It's a turbo timer feature, lets you set it for time or EGT to let your truck run after you turn it off for a certain time or until exhaust temps reach a certain temp as to cool the turbo down, then it automatically shuts off.

So you can turn off the truck and take the key out and it will continue to run till it reaches the specified temp?

Yea, if you set it for EGT's. Or, you can set it for a preset run time, such as 30 seconds, after you turn it off and remove the key it will run for 30 seconds and then shut down.

Is that like switching from an Intel to an AMD, or vise-versa?

Forgive me, I'm not up on "electronic" enhancements.

Good luck with your ride.

If you step on the brake, it will shutdown immediately, according to the user manual.
