thats y its always a good idea to wait till the second or third year they come out. just so all the bugs are gone.

I was driving a ford so I had to get rid of it while it was still running

Well, if you were driving a ford before then you are still better off now no matter how shes running.

that aint no lie the ford was in the shop at least once a month never less that $500 and most of the time more

these things happen to newly designed engines. I'm glad you at least understand that some people are so dense about these things.

Looks like we are starting to see the problems of the new EPA crap. I'm sure this is just the begining of these types of posts.

Sorry bks,

When I bought my truck I wasn't completly finacially ready yet, but when I heard about the new emissions crap coming out I told the wife I couldn't wait. We went and found an 07 with the 5.9L that weekend. I know I could have bought an older one but I wanted to get a virgin truck since I plan on owning it the rest of my life.

I believe your DPF is full and you have to run it hwy speeds for approx. 45 min for it to burn off the soot and clear it up.

Took my truck to the dealer today. they drove it 40 miles and it regenerated just like it should. but I drove it 150 miles on the high way yesterday. makes me wonder if I was driving to too fast. But for now big red is back in action.
