Just an idea, a search will show you lots of threads on this subject, and just as many ideas on it .

I went with the 2007 5.9 as soon as I heard there was a differant motor and trans, let alone all the new polution $$$$$$$$$$$
Good luck with which ever way you go

I'd say if you can still find a 5.9, go for that one. That new emissions crap doesn't sound too good so far.

the 6.7 so far is not having the issues the ford 6.4L is having. . .however I would still hold off on the 6.7 untill more miles are logged on them to see how well the EGR and DPF holds up over time.

hoever I will say this. on other sites I frequent. . .there have been very few major issues with the 6.7L.

most of the problems I am seeing deal with the EPA commie CARB crap in the exhaust. a few injector failures, but they are running on average with the 5.9L HPCR's.
