Default azz of myself

I am having the same problem as before with my truck not regenerating the dealer wanted me to leave it with him and maybe his mechanics could get to it in a couple days. That would be fine but they didn't want to give me a loaner but they would rent me a car. Needless to say I still have my truck. I guess I will have to find another dealer but the hell with that one.

What does the owners manual have to say about the regen process? I know the Ferd truck comes with a video to explain all about it to the customer. Do you do alot of short trips or low speed driving? Not trying to be a jerk. Just wondering if it issomething you are missing or whether we need to gather the war party to help.

I would re read the manual so you are armed with the right info and then seek another dealers opinion.

No thats what I thought at first but the owners manual said to drive it at highway speeds to 45 min I drove it 300 miles today pulling my trailer I think it is a censor because the light came on 100 miles after the dealer serviced it on Monday so I will drive it until I get to Cedar City UT ina couple days and find a dealer there.

shouldn't ever blow smoke. Sounds like a bad dfp. Or at least it's bad now

shouldn't hurt anything but if the dpf becomes plugged enough, it could shut the engine down. I'm not quite sure how dodge does their engine protection/ shutdown system.

I'm starting to wonder if he doesn't have a bad injector dumping too much fuel causing thedpf to clog up?
