Default Rough idle...blowing smoke

Ok...so after I get my truck back from the dealer which had a fuel filter that broke apart, I have driven ~1000 miles. Now....it seems to have a rough idle and when I go to pass on the highway, I am now noticing smoke out the exhaust that I have never noticed before.
Anyone have any ideas??? Clogged injectors???

Should also note that I now have 10, 500 miles on the truck. Got it new in the middle of Feburary. It's has it's scheduled 7,500 service

Fuel filter came apart? Did it desintegrate?

Didn't really get a good look at it, but they say on of the rings came off and it was blocking the fuel inlet. When I took it in.... it wouldn't even pull it's own weight up a hill.

dont drive it, call road side and have it towed back to the dealer. Sounds like an injector hanging open, if so you could melt a piston!

melt a piston? I dunno if a single injector dumping would be enough to raise egt's to melt that piston. but what do i know. I'm just thinking if a single injector failure can ruin a piston then these engines aint too tuff.

Yes, bu the 6.7l has a filter on the exhaust. It shouldn't ever smoke
