is that $500 per cylinder or each piston & each rod? how did this compare to stock parts? did you get a quote on those?
The quote wasn't dead on but, per pistons w/ the rod is about $500. They don't even compare to stock. They're forged billet high performance pistons and are custom cut to the spec of the cylinder. I probably don't really need to do it as from what I've been told, the stock pistons hold up pretty well.

Well, I disagree with that ;-) and by doing the bottom end i'll have a little more security on the track and pulling.

i'm just wondering and if you don't wanan answer then don't but i'm thinking you're probably easily up over 100k invested in this truck aint? I mean that mega cab laramie had to be right near 60 or at least in the 50's. and with all the mods damn.

Might as well toss in one of those high performance vibration dampners on the front too.

There's an old timer mechanic that lives next door to one of my best buddies. He says the way around burning up pistons is to install steel ones. He's not a fan of aluminum at all........lol.

That's too bad about that motor Triton. I find your truck to be quite intimidating as far as first impressions go...lol. Rebuild, add water/methanol injection. Send your head to ATS for Fire ringing.

Good luck with your ride.

Mayfair - there's literally nothing for 2 hrs in any direction around here.

The block will be going out in a week to be bored
Are you shipping it out or are you driving it somewhere? I'm sure that will cost a TON of cash to ship out, so driving it somewhere kinda makes sense even if it IS more than 2 hours away.
