This might be the one
Hello,
You all must be getting pretty annoyed from my continuous posts of this crap, well, hopefully the end might be coming soon. Long story short, my mom "might" be able to finance this truck for me. I really hope I get this one. I am open to ALL opinions (except Mayfair's.................just kidding!) I will let you look for yourself.........http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...advanced=&

Like sabersix recommends have a mechanic check it out if its possible, it could simply be a case of a "quick sale" there may be nothing wrong with or it might have some minor issues. This truck should run between $6100(low end condition)to $8200(excellent condition)

That is what it should run. True, he might just be looking for a quick sale. Or, he might not know the value of his/her truck. Also, kbb says the value is $6000 for excellent condition, $5400 for good condition, and $4700 for poor condition,or something like that. I am pretty sure those numbers are correct. I thought it was pretty cheap too. But if there is nothing wrong with it, then I have a great truck for cheap. Here is an idea. What if I test drive a couple of cummins before I buy this one so I know what it sounds like, how much power it has, and stuff like that. Does that sound good?
You can do whatever you think is a good idea. The mechanic can look inside and know what to look for to make sure things haven't been tampered with. But if you want to go out and test drive and try to check it by sound more power to you. We're just trying to look out for you.
Yes, and I absolutely understand. I just don't know any diesel mechanics, unless someone on this forum wants to help me out. The main problem is that I am jumping into something that I absolutely know nothing about (diesel engines) and that is why I am jumping into it, so I can gain a general knowledge on diesels, and this might be my last truck I ever get (dodge cummins). So, any and all suggestions are thanked. Thanks
