truck going to Dodge for help....
I am takin my 93 ctd to the stealer friday. I have an appointment with the diesel mechanic with hands on trouble shooting. yes, I get to sneak to the service bay and ask questions as the mechanic diagnoses the ctd troubles.
its losin power ever so steadily. not sure if its injectors ($)or fuel injector pump ($$).
almost got stuck in the middle of an intersection durin a left turn. semis in every direction [:@]
the exhaust manifold is turning white also. mostly between cyl 2 - cyl 5. well, ok 4 out of 6 [

gonna have em adjust the external band on the trans too
wish me luck!

it has slowly progressed from a number of months ago when I was using power service and mmo. cleaned the engine out for sure. changed the fuel and oil filters, and its slowly goin down hill. had the trans adjusted a couple months ago. the trans guy f'd up on that so it shifts worse than before.that makes iteat fuel like mad [:@]
have a good friend at Dodge whom I am gonna owe greatly after we fix this thing... guessin he gets his new light upgrade in his house labor free!
everytime I make an appointment, something $$ comes up and i am broke just 48hrs prior to goin down there..this happens again, ill just take the account to the red!
have'ta get it fixed!!!!

yea the diesel mech i bought the truck from gives me the run around when I ask. they kinda smile and blow smoke my way. not straight with me, Ill go somewhere else.

trucks goin in today! wish me luck!!
I have to find out why it was puffin smoke at a stop light last night. seemed to do it when the idle became very rough...feels like a race car with a huge cam ......
