RE: superchip 3805
I have it reading right now. on the flashpaq forum I think it said like 35 minutes total. That sucks because I have to be at work at 8 and leave at 9 (am-pm) and I wake up at 5:30. but I am goign to give it time. I want to do this, if I have to live off of monsters tomorrow I will. Truck more important.

Hahaha. Once you get through the initial phase. When you download. It will take approx. 10 min. You'll never have to wait thirty minutes. Just leave it in performance unless you tow heavy then put it on tow/perf or back to stock when going to the dealer for a reflash. Let me know when it's downloaded. I will stay up until it's done. I will sleep in tommorrow.[sm=happybounce.gif]

RE: superchip 3805
Just came back in and it is still saying "initializing, please wait" I am going to give it until midnight to get out of this stage. if not will unplug it and try to figure it all out.
James,
What do you think this means?

RE: superchip 3805
I don't know. It usually took approx. 10 min to download, but that's after the first time using it becuase it was reading my stock setting and saving it. It should give you a screen for programming (level, tire size, etc.) after the intitializing. Let me ask you a dumb question: Did you plug the tuner in first then ask you to turn your ignition to run (don't crank it over)? Also have all accesories off in the truck. Keep the door shut and radio and compartment light off when downloading.

RE: superchip 3805
Ok, try plugging it in then turn the ignition on run. Then hopefully the screen will come up w/ the option then select truck reading or something similiar. So you can change stock setting. I been looking at the SC forum. Read acouple of post that had a buddy use it then when the original owner got it back. It took him a few times to get it downloaded.
