I like it. My buddies and I had always thought about doing the linex thing. Minnesota road salt is so hard on vehicles and we figured that would take care of the rusting issues everyone gets.

For those of you who are interested, I have about 50 - 60 photos hosted here documenting the build up.

A minor update.
I went to the stealership today and once they finally realized what suspension system I had under the hood, they became a lot more friendly. They realized this wasn't a big dumb lift kit that butchers your steering geometry. When I first went in last Thursday, they refused to even look at it. I paid for the alignment because there was a problem and it is considered a wear item that is only covered by a 12 month waranty.

They did an alignment on it and the caster was off. They adjusted the steering wheel and now everything rides at TDC and tracks true. There is a very very slight drift left, but that is from the KORE steering stabilizer filled with 200 PSI of nitrogen. I could reduce the PSI, but I'd loose the effects of the stabilizer. When you're hammering it into a turn in the dirt in 4wd with a front locker engaged and running 37 x 13.5 aggressive Toyo MT tires, you're very thankful for the stabilizer. Even during such a high energy turn, it doesn't feel like the wheel is being ripped out of your hands or shaking like a tweaker who is coming down.
The tech's at the stealership were blown away by the trucks handling. There are a couple good rain gutters around the stealership and we hit them pretty hard. The Unlimited suspension made them feel like they weren't there.
When I left, they were looking up online information about the KORE kits.

With the steering geometry addressed, I'll now turn my f ull attention to cleaning up and protecting in the front wheel wells to eliminate any rubbing under full articulation with the wheels locked either direction. Then we'll assemble a custom inner fender to protect the engine bay from flying rocks.

That, seriously, is one of the most awesome trucks I have EVER seen...

The fenders are what really catch my eye!

Here is a small update on my project.

I'm in the process of modifying the inner. Most of the sanding is done. Soon they'll be coated in Herculiner.

I installed the new headlights, roof lights and antenna the other day. I have tail lights and 3rd brake light coming in soon. Plus some lug nut covers.

I have plans to install a Thuren cross over steering setup, manual locking hubs and a few other changes up front that I won't disclose yet.

I was thinking totm the first time I saw this post. I love that truck. Those are some kick azz mods.

My latest mod was a Nascar sun shade for the car seat. Almost as cool as Kore suspension but he's got me with the line-x paint.
