Default Pyrometer, Boost Limits

Just had guages installed on my 2007 Ram 3500 with 6.7 diesel and automatic. We use the Dodge for pulling our 14,500 pound 5th wheel. Due to weight we want to make sure we don't exceed maximums and due damageto the engine or transmission. Therefore, what would be safe limits for Transmission temperature, Pyrometer reading (sensor is mounted after the turbo), and boost reading?

Thank you for any help.

well my fifth wheel is only about 7k empty and I had to make a quick run on a short on ramp Sunday and saw about 32 1/2 on the boost gauge, I thought the wastegate would kickin before that, so I was a bit suprised.

With the pyro mounted post turbo, I wouldn't exceed 900 I've heard there's 400 deg difference between pre and post turbo, cant help on bosst but keep the tranny temp under 250 if possible.

the wastegate will keep things below 35#. I'm not posative if the 6.7's gave higher stock bost numbers, but for any ride 35# is alot of pressure. you would probably see no more than 20-25 with some spikes to 30.

pyro, 900-1000 is as high as I would take it for any length of time. pre turbo numbers can go up to 1350 before you need to be concerned.
