Default Had a Tire Blow Out But a Rear Window!!!!!!!!!!

Thats right. Went out started the 07 5.9 CC to warm up, shut the drivers door and BOOM!!!!!!!! the back window blows into a million pieces into the bed of the truck. I have had the truck for a month and only has 1k on it. I take it to the dealership, go get the salesman that sold me the truck he takes me to the service manager who says he will hve to get a hold of the rep ???, but not to count on it being under warranty. I about SH*T when he said this and told him what I thought about that. Anybody else ever seen this happen. Do you think Dodge should warranty this.

Do I think they should warranty it ... YES

Do I think they will ... NO

Unfortunately you'll hafta PROVE that it shattered just as you described, and how the hell are you going to do that? Hopefully your insurance policy covers windows for free. I know some do.

Which dealer if I can ask?

I had mine about a month also when I discovered that the key box they use on the lot had chipped the driver side window. Took about 20 minutes worth of talking but they replaced it.

Logan UT I shouldn't have but They wouldn't give me a loaner when I bought a $40,000 a week before. I just lost my cool for a little bit.

Take a look around the seems to look for anything funny in the seam of the window. What you're looking for is a damaged molding or something protruding that was causing a strain on the glass itself. If this is beyond your capabilities, or you can't find anything wrong, have them look at it. I suggest you have them look at the body of the cab and make sure the cab is in spec. Body and frame twisting puts strain on windows. They're usually the first place to tell you if there is a alignment problem in the frame/body.

Also, was this the sliding window or the full defrost window?

I had my own war with the stealership lately. Damn near tried to blame my seat belt problem on my KORE installation. It took a lot of ball busting and bitching to get some fair treatment. When they're real dicks, I start adding on minor things for them to have to fix. Such as seat control levers that fall apart, plastic hooks that hold the leather seat down, engine bay molding and dust covers, air seals that are bad, speakers that make funny noises and so on.
If they want to be dicks, you can waste their time chasing ****les.

Unless your salesmen has some pull at the stealership, he's a waste of time. He'll pretend to be sympathetic, but remember who's team he plays for.

If the dealership has their warrnaty costs under control it should easily be covered by warranty. Glass, plastic, and wear items (brakes clutches and whatnot) fall under a 12k/3month warranty. If the manager has to ask his service rep they're likely running some high warranty costs, and Chrysler doesn't trust 'em, or the manager is just a pansy.
