Oh yeah, also, these are big A$$ trucks with big burly engines, we aren't supposed to care what the mpg is.
lol, you got a point there but even if i was driving a tractor trailer to work everyday i would still be on top of my mileage trying for the best! even if i got 9mpg i wouldent trade my truck for any, ITS THAT SWEET. but to respond to your above post i do not have to much of a lead food, it seems if i drive a tank with a led foot and without a led foot its only 1-mpg less or more. oh well...

@70 I can stretch a bit over 19mpg hand calculated. and yes I have 4.10's and a stick

normaly I get high 17's to low 18's. one of these days I'm gunna hit the lottery and get one of them fancy overdrive gear units.

before I got tires the lie-o-meter in the headliner said 21.5 consistently, now after I got my tires (you can see what I'm rollin on in my sig as well) the lie-o-meter says 19.1 consistently. I know you shouldn't go by the mpg readout in the headliner but, I would imagine that If I figured it by hand I would have lost about the same as what itis tellin' me(about 2.5 mpg).
Not completely true, unless you got the speedo corrected. The lie-o-meter goes by how fast it thinks the truck is going. If your speedo is 10 percent off then you are actually going 10 percent farther than it is calculating the mileage for. So if it is figuring you are using 5 gallons for 100 miles it will tell you 20 MPG but if you are actually going 110 miles because your speedo is off you actually got 22 MPG. So you may have actually just corrected the lie-o-meter. Hope this makes sense.

nice! that makes since, I haven't ever been sure of were it comes up with those crazy number's. Now I'm definetly gonna have to check it by hand. When itused to say21.5 with the stock tires, it hand calculatede at 19.8. Now it says about 19.1 on the comp, and the hand calc is..... give me another 500 miles until this tank runs out and all let ya'll know.
