I got under there and looked today. It seems like someone sprayed something on there befre since there is caked up crud on the ends. My shock is rubbing as well (the plastic cover is rubbing on the shock body) but I dont think this making any noise. As for the knock over hard bumps...I am still not sure. All the bolts look good, exhaust looks good. Only thing I can figure is the fold flat storage is making the noise. They have these elastic straps to hold them down that I havent been using and they have been folded out the last couple of days and I havent heard it...then again I havent been on any rough roads either.

Take a good look at your front shocks for that knocking noise. I've also check your calipers too. I've seen them on other vechicals where the pins wear out and they rattle around. As for the spring pack, go pressure wash it off to get the caked on grit out. Might be some dirt worked it's way between the leaves and causing the noise.

The noise is definately coming from the back. Worn caliper pins after 1 year and 6500 miles???? I am feeling pretty good about the fold flat floor being the culprit, we will see. Leave it to me to make a whole pile of $hit out of nothing. I didnt think to pressure wash the springs, good idea.

Mine creaks too. Maybe its the mud though. Guess I'm too lazy to bring it up, just got used to it.

Mine creeked for a while, but it has gone away now. 6500 miles in a year? Mine has 34000 in 11 months.Drive that thing more and worry less!
