Default Anyone else have creaky leaf springs?

My truck has 6500 miles on it and the damn things creak like a ****. I am almost positive thats what it is, if I climb into the truck or rock it they creak, not squeek...kind of a deep squeek I guess you could say. THere is also a knock when I hit hard bumps like something is loose and hitting. I think it is the exaust since it was modified so I am not too worried about that for now since I will be installing my new aero this weekend I will have chance to really check i tout. My question is, what is good to spray in the leaf spring bolts?

check the rear leaf springs for the isolators... a plastic piece that keeps the leafs apart when they are moving to help them slide easier

There are teflon slip pads that go on the ends of the leaves, are yours still in there?

I would really hope so! What do they look like and why would they be missing?

They are little round disks that sit on top of your leaf springs on the ends of them

Oh oh oh....I know what you are talking about. I havent checked but with the way it sound I really think its coming from the bolt that attatches the leaf to the frame. I guess I will have to get someone to move the truck while I listen under it. I was just going to lube the bolts up and see if it stopped.
