Automotive GPS

RE: Automotive GPS
Well, I pulled the trigger on the Garmin Nuvi 660. It's got a larger screen for these tired old eyes of mine, plus a few other neat features. Hey Mayfair, I think that I have your British Nanny's sister programmed for my output voice. I guess I'm so used to hearing my wife tell me where to go all the time, it just seems natural........... yahoo baby !

Naw Mayfair, It's not much a of a bigger display screen than yours. The Streepilot 330 display is 2.8" wide by 2.1" high. The Nuvi 660 display is 3.81" by 2.25" high. Its appears to be more of a rectangle. It has some neat features though......bluetooth capabilities, sd card insert, mobile book ability, likely more stuff that I'll never utilize. Best part though, it'll help keep my dumb tourist a$$ out of trouble and gettin lost !!

I have a friend with one and he uses it all the time. The only problem is that he is dyslexic and goes left when it says right.

Hey Mayfair, Yeah............I've traded in my ole gassers after around 100k miles. But this CTD........well thats a horse of another color. No, sorry Dude, I've got high hopes for this current ride. But the offer still stands for a forum ride in visit where I'll let ya drive it like ya stole it! __________________________________________________ ___________________ Hey Do_What, I'm using an older 2002 version of the Microsoft Streets and Trips for my mapping out of the routes I'm taking for this Yellowstone trip. It's a great software program, only problem I have is that it's somewhat dated and a few private campgrounds are no longer in buisness. If I see somewhere I'm interested in , I then call them, or look them up on the internet. Is there a way for you to intergrate a GPS with that software to show where you are on the map?
