10 or 0 Fuel PSI, you decide
I think my Quadzilla commander is messed up but I want to make sure that there isn't really anything wrong so I'm going to run this by you guys to see if you have seen this before.
When at idle the fuel PSI reads 10. Touch the gas pedal and it drops to 0. I noticed this goign into work today. The quadzilla locked up going down the highway and when I stopped for fuel and turned the engine back on, it was working again. The engine runs fine and shows no sign of fuel starvation (no white smoke or engine missing). I find it hard to believe that the truck would run fine if there was really 0 PSI on the fuel pressure. The fact that the commander locked up, leads me to believe that there is a problem with the commander, not the truck, but I want to make sure so I don't ruin my VP44.

I know what the problem is someone switched your accelerator pedal for a gas pedal and now your quad doesn’t like it and it wants the accelerator pedal back so it can work correctly
I'd tend to think it's the Commander Bob and not your lift pump. I find it hard to believe that you idle fine and then merely touch the peddle and it sinks to zero, but the truck runs fine. My pressure gauge goes from 14 - 13 when I hit the peddle. Yours is probably the same.
Are fuel gauges a good suggestion? I'm going to have a Pyrometer, EGT gauge (or is that the same as a pyro? not real sure on gauges learning as i go) Boost pressure. Don't really need a trans temp gauge due to the fact that I don't tow a whole lot and I have manual, could be wrong.
pyro is the same as an egt. you'll want boost pyro and fuel pressure.

Monitoring your fuel pressure will allow you to see how well your lift pump is working. If your lift pump dies or starts to die ( low pressure ), you will see it on the gaue and you can shut your truck down before it kills your injection pump which is a co$tly repair.
