Default 5.9L Red Line

The biggest thing I am having to get used to on my new 5.9 CD is the 3200 red line at about 90 MPH. I am a first time Diesel owner and not that there is any need to go that fast on a regular basis I was on the open freeway last night and just wanted to see what it would do and man does it cruise nice at 90 but I did not want to push it any further. Was this at all an issue for anyone out there where when cruising at 85 or 90

It's the 4.10 rear end man. I haven't gone that fast in mine yet but I bet it would red line at about 85-90 also.

Yeah I figured the ratio was the issue but the truth is I don't think I'm gonna even mess with it. Savage you happen to have any pics of your pro-comps? I have not decided what to do with my tires yet and just looking around for ideas.

Thanks boss!

Yeah, I've hit 3500-3600 a few times while wheeling, but never for anextended time like highway driving.

if your on the highway, you'll just defuel when you hit either 3200rpm or 100mph, which ever comes first.
