It wasnt like that until 2 months ago tho, frankly I wish theyd do away with it all together if its going to cause this much grief...hell, the month I won an SRT10 was complaing, saying that if we had it at an SRT site it would be a differant story...Im sure it would have been..its just a contest that no matter who is involved is getting out of hand. I have voted for a number of Dakotas. As far as the imaturaty deal, thats why I posted this particular thread, Im not looking to flame anyone but...I havent read any Cummin's guys calling the Dak owners imature. I think we should all let things settle down and hopefully make this fun again. Just my opinion....like I say I wasnt looking to flame anyone or stir up this mess again but when I read the post I got a bit heated. In the long run we are all brotha's driving Dodges, there plenty of Ferd guy's and Chebby guys we could be having fun with hehehe

 

I will go up when it is time and vote for the truck I like the most and appeals to me, it dont matter if it is a dakota of any gen or a ram of any gen or motor, it could be a first gen with a v6 but if it looks the best im going to vote for that. and that is how it should be, none of this oh, he has a dakota im going to vote for him or hes got a ctd im going to vote for him. that guys, just isent the way its ment to be.

like I said, everyone needs to vote for there favorite one, not just because its a dak or a ctd

 

Hey guys, the reason why I've been pushing the whole thing with the Gen III daks is because the trucks haven't been getting a fair shake. My truck, not that I'm complaining, was nominated three times, twice in one year, and I finally won in April.

I go to the DakotaUSA site, and they bash the crap out of the Gen III's. They're good looking trucks, and we've done a lot to our trucks to make them even better. Some of us have put 1000's of dollars into them.

The month I won, someone complained that I was winning because I didn't have a Super Charger and the Shelby Durango did. No whining involved, just trying to get us a little recognition.

I vote for who I believe is the better/nicer truck, and in my opinion I believe the Gen III Daks that are modified are nicer, but if we didn't have any of our trucks in the nominations, I would vote for a Ram in a heart beat.

So, can we just get over the bickering now or what?

 

Problem is no matter how much you do to a dakota I will always like a ctd better, sorry.
