This may not help you today, but 2100F threadlocker may keep you from having to ditch the manifold.

you can get an adapter that is 1/4NPT so you can drill it larger than the 1/8NPT and re-do it. that is if you used the 1/8NPT fitting at first.

geno's has them. . .I know they do. when I got my gages the guy was about to toss both the 1/8 and 1/4 in my box just incase I messed up I could size up. I gave it back cause I knew I wouldnt mess it up

Did Geno's stop carrying Edge Drew? I went to their site and I didn't see them there anymore.

The only reason I thought they did was because on the bottom of their calander ( hanging in my garage ) they have Edge products listed

Jakes is after the turbo. Had I put mine there it would have worked fine. I chose to put it in front of the turbo where all the back pressure builds up.

I talked to Quadzilla today and they are going to send me a probe that has 1/4 NPT threads. I can re tap it with the larger tap and hopefully this problem will be solved. This time I am taking it to an exhaust shop and have them do it.

Good luck, are they paying for the thermocouple or do you have to pocket it?

If the tech can find a 1/4 NPT end for the probe I get it for free. A new probe with 1/4 NPT on it cost $19. I've got to send the quad back for warranty repair on the screen so they are going to send it back in the box when they return it.
