If you dont have a good ground you can have malfunctions in electrical systems, and just a hunch, but I think drew feels it is in the electrical system

for the most part. . .mayfair had a similar issue and it turned out to be the main ground did not have a good ground. thus he was having an erratic shift when the torque converter was locking up in O/D. plus this is a common issue from 98.5-00 trucks.

if that doesnt do it. . .when was the last time you changed the tranny fluid???

D-line timed? Hows the center bearing, slip yoke and ujoints? Maybe pull the diff cover and see what the gears look like.

Not sure what D-line timing is? And to the best of my knowledge of those that you mentioned (thank you) they all seem to be ok, however I have yet to actually raise the rubber to test it all, w/out load. I will however look into freeing the rear wheels and testing. Ilook for you later Thanks,,

Well “bonk†seems to still be there, not as pronounced, however that could be due to me watching for it, you know how that goes..
At any rate, I'm open to whatever anyone cares to contribute [/i][/b]
